It looks like we are finally going to get a new entry within the Kirby see for the Nintendo Switch next year in 2022. The announcement of Kirby and the Forgotten Land came back in September 2021 and its a 3D platformer that will be developed by HAL Laboratory. The plot for this upcoming Kirby game is interesting since it sees the main protagonist in a more primitive setting than what players are used to seeing. Kirby’s main foes in this upcoming 3D platformer are beast like creatures known as Beast Corps. Apparently, Beast Corps have some kind of grudge against Kirby and want to exterminate him as a result. Beast Corps have also captured the Waddle Dees which Kirby must rescue as well. Similar to previous installments within the series Kirby has the ability to copy the abilities of his foes in order to combat other adversaries. As it currently stands Kirby and the Forgotten Land is one of the hottest upcoming Switch games for 2022. Also, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is somewhat reminiscent of the Crystal Shards from 2000 for the Nintendo 64. There is no question that Kirby and the Forgotten Land has the potential to be one biggest attractions for the Switch console in 2022.
