When we think about the most popular video games in the 10’s decade so far there are many titles that comes to mind. Within the past three to four years both Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2 are titles that stand out in terms of being the best that we have seen in the 10’s decade thus far. While both games have gained a ton of mainstream attention during their respective releases there are many people who debate on which game has been more popular overall. Both Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2 utilized the Unreal Engine 3 and were big attractions within the fighting genre of gaming for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
Also, both Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2 has won numerous awards for the best fighting games since their respective releases. In terms of which game was better really depends on what series you are more a fan of. If you are into blood & gore with an interesting storylines than a game like Mortal Kombat X would be considered more popular than Injustice 2. But if you are more of a casual gamer who is into the DC Universe which include larger than life heroes and villains such as Superman, Batman, Joker, Bane and many others than Injustice 2 would probably be a more suitable fighting game. In fact, Injustice 2 includes Mortal Kombat characters Raiden and Sub-Zero as DLC which added to the overall appeal of the game itself. In terms of which game is more popular some would give Injustice 2 the slight edge over Mortal Kombat X.
