Should Mortal Kombat X have been released on the Wii-U?

Mortal Kombat X was arguably one of the most popular fighting games in 2015.  Not only did Mortal Kombat have a great story mode but it had excellent graphics, gameplay along with interspersed new characters that players became used to.  However, when Mortal Kombat X was first released it came out for the PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows along with mobile devices.  


The reason why Mortal Kombat X was never for the Nintendo Wii-U is questionable.  When it came down to sales the Wii-U was not quite as popular as theXbox One or the PS4.  Also, most of the big Wii-U games that were best sellers were family friendly games that all involved Super Mario.  Even if Mortal Kombat X was ported for the Wii-U it probably would not have done as well in sales in comparison to the PS4 and the Xbox One since both consoles had better graphics.

Should Super Mario Galaxy be re-released for the Nintendo Switch? 

Super Mario Galaxy was probably one of the best games in the Super Mario series back in the 00’s.  Not only did the concept involving the the Star Festival along with collecting stolen Power Stars from make for an interesting story but the game had managed to to be a huge commercial success as a Wii exclusive.  


Since its release Super Mario Galaxy has managed to sell over 12 million units worldwide since its release while becoming one of the best selling games for the Nintendo Wii.  As of right now Super Mario Odyssey is currently one of the hottest games for the Nintendo Switch right now.  If Nintendo ever decides to to re-release Super Mario Galaxy for the Switch console they should wait at least s year from now.  With so many upcoming games in 2018 Super Mario Galaxy can easily be overshadowed on the Nintendo Switch.

Was Marvel vs Capcom Infinite a better game than Street Fighter V?

When it comes down to fighting games developed by Capcom we have seen countless titles that have been considered a major success for many years.  While there have been some praise and criticisms of both Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and Street Fighter V they are arguably the best fighting games that the gaming world has seen within the past three years.


However, there has been debate on which game was better in terms of graphics, gameplay and overall quality.  The cool thing about Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was the inclusion of a story which was something that was never seen in the past three preceding.  But despite how creative the story mode was fans would often complain about the roster of the game. While we did see some familiar faces such as Ryu, Morrigan, Iron Man, Captain America and even Mega Man who absent in MvC3  there were characters from X-Men that people really wanted see in the game and did not get to at all.  


Back when Street Fighter V came  in February 2016 it was criticized by fans mainly due to its premature release.  However, when Capcom started adding more content to Street Fighter V with the addition of a story mode more people were impressed by the game overall.   


In terms of quality both games were creative as far as story modes are concerned.  It will be tough to tell if the sequels for either Marvel vs Capcom Infinite or Street Fighter V will be similar or not considering the fact that the producer for both games Peter Rosas went separate ways with Capcom last month.  But terms of which game was better overall some would probably say that Street Fighter V and Marvel vs Capcom were about even in terms of quality.

Was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time a better game than Majora’s Mask?

Generally it’s debatable between many fans of the Legend of Zelda set in terms of which game was better between Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask.  When it comes down to sales Zelda: Ocarina of Time had managed to sell at over 7 million units worldwide since its release for the Nintendo 64 back in late 1998.  The features that Ocarina of Time had introduced the Zelda set including the target lock system in regards to 3D gameplay was impressive.  


However, despite how much Ocarina of Time had sold worldwide it seemed like many people favored Majora’s Mask in terms of quality.  With N64 expansion oak Majora’s Mask provided players with a better gaming experience along with the fact that this title had a slightly darker theme than some of the previous titles in the series the 80’s and 90’s.  While Majora’s Mask only sold over 3 million units for the N64 and was a fun title to play its tough to debate on whether or not it was a better game the Ocarina of Time or vice versa.

Upcoming Games-Celeste: (2018)

There are some pretty cool platform games that  the world has seen this year and are look forward to seeing in 2018.  Another platform title that we are expecting to see for the Nintendo Switch and the PS4 is entitled “Celeste”developed by Matt Thorson and Noel Berry.


The cool thing about Celeste is the fact that the game looks reminiscent of older 8 bit platform titles that were on the NES back in the 80’s such as the Super Mario Bros series.  Players have the ability to dash throughout each level while making their way up mountains as the difficulty of the slow starts to increase. Even though, Celeste will be included on the PS4 it seems like a game that would work better as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

Upcoming Games- Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom: (2018)


NI No Kuni II is another upcoming game for the PlayStation 4 console developed by Level-5 Inc. that the world is look forward to.  This role playing title is followed by Ni no Kuni:Wrath of the White Witch which was released exclusively for the PS3 back in 2011.  This third person role playing game allows players to take control of a young king who must reclaim his kingdom after having it taken away from him.  

There are so many things about this game that are considered to be appealing as an RPG such as the visual art, open world travel along with the chibi design for the characters and the battle system where players can utilize melter attacks and magical abilities.  Fortunately, this game is set to be released shortly after New Year’s Day making this a desirable title to have in 2018.

Could a Mario Party game have ever worked on the SNES? 

The Mario Party series has been around since the mid to late 90’s when it first got started on the Nintendo 64.  The Mario Party titles generally includes a series of mini games where multiplayer gameplay puts people against one another while utilizing some of the main characters in the Super Mario series.  While the Mario Party games are considered to be very fun to play some wonder whether or not it could have became popular in 2D.  

After all, we did get to see Tiny Toons Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge developed by Konami in the early 90’s which was probably the closest thing to Mario Party on the SNES in terms of gameplay.  Even though, a Mario Party could have worked on the SNES back in the early 90’s it probably would not have gotten as popular as it did if the series had began on the N64 in the late 90’s.
