Alone In The Dark Remake Coming In March 2024

It looks like the 2020’s decade is shaping up to be a good one for the survival-horror genre of gaming. With the success of games like Alan Wake 2 along with Resident Evil 4: Remake back in 2023 there is no question whatsoever that upcoming games like Alone In The Dark Remake are going to shine from 2024 onwards. For those who do not know Alone In The Dark is scheduled to be released on March 20th and its going to appear across multiple game systems including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. Unfortunately, Alone In The Dark will not be backwards compatible with last generation game systems but its something that might upset several people. Alone In The Dark will be published by THQ Nordic and developed by Pieces Interactive and will be presented from a third person perspective. The atmosphere and lightning are among the best features of Alone In The Dark and the graphics are far better than the original.

The original Alone In The Dark game from ’92 is one that many people had forgot about overtime especially since the survival-horror genre was not as popular in the 90’s compared to today. The Remake of Alone In The Dark will most likely standout more in 2024 than the original version of the game did in ’92. However, its very likely that Alone In The Dark could get overshadowed by the Silent Hill 2: Remake which is set to be released later in 2024. Also, the popularity and success of Alan Wake 2 is likely to carry over throughout 2024 which could also make people less interested in Alone In The Dark. The Alone In The Dark trilogy from the 90’s was something that never got mainstream attention back in the day. Also, Alone In The Dark: Illumination from 2015 was awful because it was more of a third-person shooter than a survival-horror game. The Illumination game had seemingly killed the series but this upcoming remake of the ’92 classic is one that could possibly revive it depending how its received by critics.
