Would the development of a disk-less Xbox One console a great idea?

As of right now one of the hottest topics in the gaming world right now involves Microsoft possibility releasing a diskless Xbox One console sometime in the near future. As it currently stands Microsoft had never officially confirmed any rumors regarding the upcoming release of a disc- less Xbox One console but has been well noted that the company had expressed interest in focusing more on streaming in relation to gaming. The idea of a disc-less Xbox One sounds interesting especially if price is lower than that of the Xbox One S which averaged around $299 following its release back in the summer of 2016. In fact, rumors have circulated that the potential price of a disc-less Xbox One would be priced around $199.

The only catch of having a disk-less Xbox One console would be the exclusion of a Blu-ray drive which one of the few features that made the other models appealing following their respective releases. Also, the idea of having a disk-less Xbox One would be appealing in some ways because it could be a feature that makes the console stand out from it competitors such as Sony and Nintendo that requires people to actually buy physical copies of games that they want to purchase. However, some would probably agree that Microsoft should have released a disk-less Xbox One game console years ago despite how it may have been viewed by critics anytime between 2014-2016.

Should Batman: Arkham Origins be ported for the Nintendo Switch?

When it comes down to popular action-adventure titles of the 10’s decade one of the most popular titles that we have seen in relation to superheroes was Batman: Arkham Origins which was initially released for the Wii-U, Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 back in October 2013. Despite, there being technical is with the Xbox 360 version of Arkham Origins the game was still praised by fans and critics of the series for features such as side quests that allows Batman to help police solving crimes while using creative detective skills and advanced gadgets for combating foes. As popular as Batman: Arkham Origins was for the last generation consoles during the early 10’s there are many people who would love to see this game ported to the Nintendo Switch or even the PlayStation 4.

As many people know Batman: Arkham Origins utilized the Unreal Engine 3 so the game could definitely work on the Nintendo Switch since it can run titles that uses the Unreal Engine 4. However, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has never announced any plans on bringing Batman: Arkham Origins to the Nintendo Switch. A game like Batman: Arkham Origins could possibly standout more on the Nintendo Switch than the PS4 especially since there are many big upcoming releases in the future such as Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy VII: Remake which can potentially overshadow potential a re-release if this action-adventure title.

Could Marvel vs Capcom 3 have been popular in arcade centers?

As many people know Marvel vs Capcom 3 was one of the most popular crossover fighting games of the 10’s. Ever since its release Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds has remained exclusively on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Unlike, its predecessors Marvel vs Capcom 3 never received an arcade release and was still a huge success in countries such as America and Japan due to the fact that the game was at least a decade in the making. If Marvel vs Capcom 3 was released in arcade centers back in the early 10’s the game could have definitely been somewhat of an attraction.

But ever since online multiplayer gameplay became popular back in the mid to late 00’s it almost seemed like there was no point whatsoever on having an arcade version Marvel vs Capcom 3. The arcade era of gaming ended a long time ago somewhere between the late 90’s and the early 00’s. As popular as Marvel vs Capcom 3 was in the early 10’s an arcade version of the game would not have been as exciting as the online multiplayer experience that people had for the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360.

Will Epic Games release another Unreal Tournament game in 2019?

As many people already know the Unreal Tournament series has been around since 1999 and is considered to be legendary within the first person shooter genre of gaming. The last major Unreal Tournament game that the world has ever saw was released back in 2007 on Microsoft Windows before being ported to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 the following year. Since then the world has been waiting to see another Unreal Tournament game on either the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One preferably both for least four years now. Its been noted Epic Games has been in the developmental phase of creating a new Unreal Tournament game since May 2014.

This upcoming Unreal Tournament game will be utilizing the Unreal Engine 4 and is expected to appear on Microsoft Windows, Linux and OS X sometime in the near future. While the release date of this upcoming Unreal Tournament game has yet to be revealed some wonder whether or not Epic Games plans on releasing it sometime in 2019. After all, November 30th of next year will mark the 20th Anniversary of the game and what better way to celebrate it than releasing a brand new entry to the series around that time period.

Will Metro Exodus have more success than Metro: Last Light?

One of the hottest shooter games that many people are looking forward to seeing next year is Metro: Exodus developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. Metro: Exodus is expected to appear on the PlayStation 4 along with the Xbox One in February 2019 on the 22nd. As of right now there are gamers buzzing about whether or not Metro: Exodus will have more success than its prequel Metro: Last Light which first appeared on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows back in 2013. While the original version of Metro: Last Light was enjoyable some preferred the 2014 remastered version of the game Metro: Last Light Redux which came out for the PlayStation 4 along with the Xbox One.

The Metro: Redux package which included remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Light has reportedly sold at least 1.5 million copies worldwide which is impressive. Based on what we know the script for Metro: Exodus will be longer than Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light combined and with the inclusion of more superior gameplay & graphics from the last two games its almost guaranteed that this upcoming game will be a huge success. It would not be much of a surprise if Metro: Exodus sells over 1.5 million copies worldwide within year for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

Will Fallout 76 reach over one million in sales within 24 hours?

As of right now one of the hottest games that the world is look forward to seeing in the near future is Fallout 76. For those who do not know Fallout 76 is a narrative prequel to the series which takes place in the 22nd century. For those who are into action role playing games with large open world maps Fallout 76 has been confirmed to include one that is more than twice the size than what we got for Fallout 4. Along with an enhanced version of the SPECIAL progression system Fallout 76 will be the first game in the series to feature an online multiplayer mode.

The visuals and gameplay for this game look amazing thanks to the Creation Engine and is set to appear for the PlayStation 4 along with the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on November 14th. As far as sales are concerned there is absolutely no question that Fallout 76 will sell over one million within 24 hours. After all, Fallout 4 had managed to sell over 1.2 million units copies within a day on Steam following its release back in 2015. If anything Fallout 76 is probably one of the most anticipated action role playing games of 2018.

Microsoft brings Alexa to the Xbox One

There have been so many cool announcements so far in 2018 in relation to the gaming world in general. For those who currently own an Xbox One or plan on getting one in the near future you will be happy to know that Microsoft will now Alexa can used for this current generation game console. Alexa will allow people to control the device through voice in order to perform actions such as adjusting the volume, powering up the Xbox One, capture screenshots along with starting up video games.

Alexa will be an interesting new addition to Microsoft’s Xbox One and might contribute to playing a role in making the console more marketable since other systems such as the Nintendo Switch do not have this feature. Alexa in some ways compensated for Microsoft’s decision to discontinue the production of the Kinect device despite how successful it has been since 2010 reaching over 35 million in sales. It will be interesting to see whether or not the inclusion of Alexa will affect the sales of the Xbox One in anyway seeing how popular Amazon’s virtual assistant device currently is.

Will there ever be a Dead Space 4?

Ever since the world had the chance to witness the release of Dead Space 3 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 in 2013 the game has been viewed in a positive light by many critics. In fact, many would argue that Dead Space 3 was arguably the best entry in the entire series since it first began back in 2008. Despite, how Dead Space 3 was praised for features such as visuals and gameplay the game did not do too well in relation sales. Even though, the sales for Dead Space 3 was not too great there were rumors going around a few years ago that Visceral Games were interested in developing some type of sequel for the game.

However, seeing how Visceral Games has become defunct a few months ago in October 2017 there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the Dead Space series in general. It’s always possible that funding a potential sequel for Dead Space 3 can be started through Kickstarter if the demand for a Dead Space 4 is high enough. But as of right now it does not seem like we will be getting a sequel for Dead Space 3 will be appearing anytime soon.

Will Forza Horizon 4 have more success than its predecessor?

As many people know one of the biggest announcements that we heard for the Xbox One was that regarding the upcoming release of Forza Horizon 4. As it currently stands Forza Horizon 4 is set to appear on the Xbox One and PC this Fall on October 2nd. While the visuals for Forza Horizon 4 looks amazing players will have the option to choose from at least 450 cars. As far as whether or not Forza Horizon 4 will sell more than its predecessor Forza Horizon 3 is something that is debatable. Ever since its release back in September 2016 Forza Horizon 3 has Mario sell over 3.6 million copies worldwide.

Not only did Forza Horizon 3 do great in sales but it also received universal acclaim from gaming entities such as IGN, GameSpot and Game Revolution. Forza Horizon 3 was definitely a worthy successor for Forza Horizon 2 and many are hopeful that the same is true regarding Forza Horizon 4. In fact Forza Horizon 4 might end up being one of the top racing titles of 2018.

Upcoming Games- Jump Force: (2019)

There were so many exciting announcements that we heard at E3 2018 in terms of upcoming games for late 2018 and 2019. One of the most shocking announcements that we have heard involved the upcoming release of a crossover fighting game revealed by Bandi Namco entitled Jump Force. This upcoming fighting title will feature popular anime characters including different series such as Dragonball Z, One Piece Naruto and even Death Note.

Similar to Dragonball FighterZ which was released back in January 2018 Jump Force will be a three on three tag team fighting game with fast paced action and stunning visuals. As of right now Jump Force is scheduled to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows in early 2019.
